 In conclusion, cyberattacks might be a real threat to anyone who is using the network. In this specific cyberattack, a huge number of sensitive information was stolen, and real damage occurred. Unfortunately, this was not the first breach for Sony corporation. As Playstation network was hacked in 2011, Sony corporation promised to enhance its security mechanism when it happened the first time. Yet, it appears that not many enhancements have taken place. However, Sony Pictures entertainment has learned a valuable lesson, and money was put to make changes in its security defenses. Moreover, this could happen to any company and organisation; therefore, a solid infrastructure is necessary to avoid any possible attacks. However, Applying an antivirus alone is not enough; what needs to be done is to harden the system by applying many security layers.
